ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

We recognize in the current transport industry it is unavoidable that we will impact on the environment in a negative way; however we are committed to the following steps and intend to reduce the effect of our operations.

As well as GPS being utilized in all Multimovers vehicles a lot of effort goes into planning routes and vehicle allocation to maximise our efficiency and reduce the carbon emissions on a daily basis.

Multimovers recycle all office waste and switch off all equipment after opening hours to cut down our electricity consumption. We also ask Customers to consider the necessity of printing emails and members of staff are encouraged to recycle their daily waste during and after work hours.

Although our packaging suppliers only use partly recycled materials, it is our aim to recycle packaging where possible and we ask customers to consider retaining or passing on their cartons to friends and family.

Multimovers will first advise customers to research whether their local authority boasts appliance re-use centers, however if aging furniture/appliances is deemed unsuitable by the customer for charity purposes or 2nd hand resale then Multimovers will always dispose of this waste in a responsible manner.

Unless Multimovers are quoting a 3 bedroom/+ home or substantial office move, the price will be offered over the phone without consuming fuel by sending out a Multimovers surveyor to the property.

Multimovers pledges regular donations to www.worldlandtrust.org. We have a small stake in helping them to plan vital land purchase and continue protecting tropical forests and other critically threatened habitats.
